The search strategy for PubMed is shown in Table ​Table1.1. The following keywords will be used: hepatitis B; ELISA; the third-generation ELISA; Anti-HBV; diagnosis; sensitivity; specificity; PCR; HBV-RNA. The equivalent search keywords will be used in the Chinese databases.
