RNA/DNA FISH foci were visually identified. Spearman correlation coefficients were calculated as a quantitative metric to determine colocalization between protein and RNA/DNA FISH foci. Spearman correlation coefficients were calculated between DNA/RNA foci and IF signal using Fiji’s Coloc2 plugin through the z-tack in a region of interest encompassing the RNA or DNA foci.
