The following eight databases will be used for searching controlled clinical trials, including PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, CNKI, CBM, VIP, and Wanfang Database. The retrieval period will start from the establishment of each database to November 2020. We will use “RCT, sciatica, WNA” as our search terms. Table ​Table11 provides a detailed search strategy in PubMed, search terms, and search strategies with the same meaning will be similarly used in other databases.
