The adipose tissues were fixed using the 4% paraformaldehyde (Beyotime Biotech. Shanghai, China) for 10 min and imbedded in O.C.T. Then, the adipose tissues were frozen and cut into sections, stained using the 3% Oil Red O (Cat. No. D027-1-1, Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China) for 10 min, as the previous study described [32].
