For primary culture of lung cancer cells from PDX tumors, tumors at a volume of about 500 mm3 were freshly isolated from NOD/SCID mice and cut with surgical scissors into small pieces. Single-cell suspensions from PDX tumors were generated using the human Tumor Dissociation Kit (Miltenyi Biotec) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Isolated cells were immediately used or cultured in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% FBS and antibiotics for further experiments.
