Cell viability of BIX01294-treated cells was evaluated using the MTT assay (Sigma-Aldrich, St. Louis, MO, USA), in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Briefly, 2 × 103 SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells were seeded onto 96-well plates. The next day, cells were incubated with 0–2 μM of BIX01294 for 12 h or exposed to H2O2 and then subjected to the MTT assay.
