In the present study, MHCC97-H, a highly invasive human hepatocarcinoma cell line, was supplied by BeinaChuanglian Co. of Beijing, China. The cells were cultured in a DMEM (1% penicillin-streptomycin) cell culture medium containing 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum. The cells were placed in a 37 °C, 5% CO2 incubator for routine culturing, and passed on once every 1 to 2 d.
