CHA2DS2-VASc score was calculated for each patient based on a point system in which 2 points were assigned for age ≥75 years and a history of stroke, and 1 point was assigned for congestive heart failure, hypertension, age between 65 and 74 years, diabetes mellitus, female sex, and vascular disease 13.
