Production of cAMP was measured using the cAMP-Glo Assay (Promega, V1501). In brief, 4 × 104 macrophages were seeded per well in a 96-well plate. Cells were treated with test compounds for the indicated time before lysis and detection of luminescence in a plate format luminometer. Values are given as relative luminescence units.
