LOD and LOQ decide about the sensitivity of the method. LOD is the lowest concentration of the analyte detected by the method and LOQ is the minimum concentration of analyte that can be determined with acceptable precision and accuracy.12 There are three different methods indicated in ICH guidelines. The first method relies on visual evaluation. Second method is based on signal to noise ratio and the third method which was used in this study was based on the SD of the curve .In this method LOD and LOQ were calculated using following equations: LOD = 3.3 SD/S and LOQ = 10 SD/S.
