Tailfin wounding and Sudan Black staining were carried out with embryos at 3 days post fertilization (dpf) as described previously (Zhou et al., 2018b). Briefly, embryos were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde in phosphate-buffered saline overnight at 4°C and stained with Sudan Black.
