The HUVECs were seeded in 24-well plates at a density of 6000 cells/cm2 and incubated overnight in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium. The cells were exposed to different concentrations of FLN, bevacizumab, VEGF, or vehicle and allowed to proliferate for 48 h. At the end of this incubation time, the cells were trypsinized, and their number was determined using a Neubauer hemocytometer.21
