CD measurements were done in a JASCO 810 spectropolarimeter (Tokyo, Japan). 5 μM concentration of WTp53 or its variants was placed in a 0.1-cm pathlength quartz cell (Hellma Analytics, Müllheim, Germany). Spectra were recorded over the wavelength range of 200–260 nm. To study the melting temperature of a protein, the samples (5 μM) were ramped from 10 to 70°C at an interval of 5°C at a rate of 1°C/min.
