The study endpoint was the recurrence of any documented episode of atrial tachyarrhythmia lasting >30 s with or without the use of antiarrhythmic drugs. We defined 90 days after the patient's last AF ablation procedure as the blanking period. However, if repeated ablation was performed within 90 days after the last session, the patient was considered to have recurrent arrhythmia at day 91.
