Cells were inoculated in 6-well plates. After cells reached confluency, they were scratched with a 10-µl disposable pipette tip. Migration of wound edges was measured at five random points on images acquired using an ECLIPSE TS100 microscope (Nikon), and the cell migration distance after 10 h was compared with the distance at 0 h. Data analysis was performed according to the previous protocol.20
