Human bladder cancer cell lines 5637, 253J, J82, T24and normal urothelial cell line SV-HUC-1 were purchased from the Cell Bank, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai. SV-HUC-1 and J82 cells were cultured with RPMI-1640 containing 1% penicillin-streptomycin and 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS). 5637, 253J and T24 cells were cultured in DMEM containing 1% penicillin-streptomycin and 10% FBS. All cells were maintained in a 5% CO2, 37 °C cell incubator.
