Cells (2 × 106) were seeded in a 10 cm culture dish and treated with 60 μg/mL of BP or BP/LPPC and incubated for 12 h. Apoptosis was detected by the TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) method using an ApopTag Plus Fluorescein In Situ Apoptosis Detection Kit (Chemicon International, Temecula, CA). The cells were photographed under the fluorescence microscopy following the manufacturer’s instructions, and the different treatments were compared.
