The shake-flask method in combination with UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the LogP values of 2–5. Briefly, to a suspension of water (500 μL) and octanol (500 μL), 2–5 was added, giving a final concentration of 100 µM. The mixture was shaken for 24 h (room temperature). Using centrifugation, the water and octanol layers were separated and the concentration of 2–5 in each layer was determined using UV-Vis spectroscopy.
