We included 14 islands of the Zhoushan Archipelago: Daxie, Fodu, Liuheng, Xiazhi, Taohua, Dengbu, Zhujiajian, Zhoushan, Cezi, Jintang, Depengshan, Xiushan, Daishan and Sijiao (Fig. ).We also conducted this study in three bullfrog-invaded regions on the nearby mainland: Beilun, Wuhu, and Yangzhou (Fig. ). The Zhoushan Archipelago is located in the East China Sea and is part of the Zhejiang Province. Data on the area of the islands were obtained from Wang37.
