Half Cytotoxic Concentration (CC50) Assay

The cytotoxicity of compounds on HEK293T and Vero cells was evaluated using the CytoTox-GloTM Cytotoxicity Assay kit (Promega, #G9290), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Cells were seeded at 4 × 104 cells per well in 96-well plates. After overnight incubation, different concentrations of the compounds diluted in culture media were added to each well. Cells treated with DMSO were used for the negative control. Cell viability was measured after 3 days of incubation.
