Statistical analysis

All data presented as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. The association between FZD7 expression and clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed using a χ² test. Statistical evaluation of continuous data was performed using one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey's post hoc test for multigroup comparisons, or a paired t-tests for comparison of differences between two groups. Wilcoxon's signed rank test was used to analyze the IHC data using SPSS 22.0 software (IBM Corp.), the Spearman's correlation analysis was conducted between Wnt5a and FZD7 IHC scores using SPSS 22.0 software (IBM Corp.). Survival analysis was carried out using GraphPad Prism version 7.0 (GraphPad Software, Inc.). P<0.05 was considered to indicate a statistically significant difference.
