Nuclear extraction and Western blot.

Nuclear fractionation of HMVEC and K562 lysates was performed using the NE-PER nuclear and cytoplasmic extraction reagents (ThermoFisher Scientific). Lysates were concentrated using the Amicon Ultra Centrifugal filters (Millipore) and subsequently quantified using the BCA assay kit (ThermoFisher Scientific, #23225). For SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, 20 μg of total protein was used, and the blots were subsequently probed with nuclear factor, erythroid-like 2 (NRF2; Abcam, #ab62352) and MutS protein homolog 2 (MSH2; Abcam, #ab70270) antibodies.
