The software RevMan Version 5.3.5 (Cochrane Collab-oration, Oxford, UK; J. Higgins & Green) was used to complete the meta-analysis of the continuous and dichotomous data. The mean difference (MD) with 95% confidence interval (CI) was employed to compare the IVELT and the score of sexual satisfaction scale, and the odds ratio (OR) with 95% CI was used to compare the adverse events among the different groups. The I2 test and Mantel-Haenszel chi-square test were employed to evaluate the statistical heterogeneity. The fixed effect model was chosen if the p > .05; otherwise, the random effect model may be adopted. This meta-analysis does not need ethical approval and patient consent since all the data is available from previously published articles.
