2.3. Oral gavage

Six month old C57BL/6J mice (The Jackson Laboratory Stock No: 000664) were treated once daily with mock (H₂0) or Fasudil (Selleckchem #S1573) for 30 days via oral gavage using plastic gavage tips (Instech Catalog #FTP-20–38). Treatment was given at 2:00 pm daily throughout the entirety of the treatment regimen. Fasudil was dissolved in H₂0 fresh each day at a concentration of 10 mg/kg (200 μL total volume per animal per day). For all experiments, age-matched and sex-matched animals were used. Additional details on mouse sex are provided in figure legends.
