The long diameter (L) and short diameter (W) of tumors were measured using a Vernier caliper every 7 days, and the volume of the tumor was calculated as follows: tumor volume (V) = (L×W2)/2. Twenty-eight days after vaccination, the nude mice were anesthetized by an intraperitoneal injection of 0.6% pentobarbital sodium (40 mg/kg) and then sacrificed by neck removal. Tumor tissues were removed and weighed. Part of the tumor tissue was fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, then embedded in paraffin and stored in liquid nitrogen.
