We made a quality assessment of the articles, using the Newcastle Ottawa Scale [10] for cross-sectional studies, as reported in Supplementary Materials Table S2. This scale ranges from 0 to 10 and consists of a selection (max 5 points), comparability (max 2 points) and an outcome subsection (max 3 points).
