2.2. Breast cancer cell culture and incubation

The T47D cell line was obtained from ATCC (Rockville, MD, USA). These cells were grown in culture medium comprising of RPMI 1640, supplemented with 10% FBS, 1% penicillin/streptomycin, 1% l-glutamine, 1% glucose, 1% sodium pyruvate, and 0.08% insulin solution. Seeding concentration was 5 × 10⁴ cells/ml and cells were cultured at 37 °C in a humidified atmosphere with 5% CO₂ until 80–90% confluent.
