For BiFC assays, the AtRH7 ORF was cloned into the EcoRI-BamHI site of pSAT4-cEYFP-N1 [70] to yield cYFP-AtRH7. AtCSP3 cloned into pSAT4-nEYFP-N1 (nYFP-AtCSP3) was described previously [30]. For subcellular localization analysis, the AtRH7 ORF was cloned into the SalI site of the pUC18-35S:GFP vector to produce pUC18-35S:AtRH7. Construction of pH7RWG2.0-AtFbr1 was described previously [69]. The subsequent transient expression using onion cells and microscope observation were performed as previously described [30].
