MDRGN are defined as “Enterobacterales with extended spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)–phenotype as well as Enterobacterales, and Acinetobacter baumannii resistant against piperacillin, any 3^rd/4^th generation cephalosporin, and fluoroquinolones ± carbapenems”, as previously described [11], [12]. In case of carbapenem-resistance, the addendum “CR” is given.
