Physiological properties of plants in individual populations were compared using factorial ANOVA and Tukey’s post hoc test (p < 0.05) using the Statistica software ver. 12 (Statsoft Inc. 2012). Canoco 5 [62] was used for PCA (Principal Component Analysis) calculated from centered (not standardized) data. This analysis was appropriate for comparing differences between annual Medicago populations in response to salt stress.
