Murine macrophage RAW 264.7 cells were purchased from the Korean Cell Line Bank (Seoul, Korea). The cells were grown in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM; Welgene, Gyeongbuk, Korea) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Welgene), 100 IU/mL penicillin G, and 100 mg/mL streptomycin (Gibco BRL, Grand Island, NY, USA) at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere (approximately 5% CO2), and the cells were counted by using a hemocytometer.
