PbTx-3 and [42-3H]-PbTx3 (16 Ci/mmol) were prepared as described [3]. Labeling of brevetoxin on position 42 has been shown to have little effect on the affinity of PbTx for the sodium channel [29]. PbTx-1 was purchased from Calbiochem (Darmstadt, Germany).
