4.3. α-Glucosidase Inhibitory Assay

The enzyme inhibition study was carried out spectrophotometrically using the procedure previously reported [45]. The α-glucosidase activity was determined by measuring release of pNPG at 405 nm using a microplate spectrophotometer (Molecular Devices). Acarbose was used as a reference compound.
