To investigate the migration ability of HT29 cells, HT29 cells were seeded on six-well culture plates at a density of 1 × 105 cells per well and allowed to grow to confluence over 24 h. The confluent monolayers were scratched with a pipette tip and cultured for 5 days. The plates were washed once with medium to remove the nonadherent cells and photographed under a phase-contrast microscope.
