Cells (5 × 104–1 × 105/condition) were centrifuged for 5 min at 4 °C at 800×g and then fixed on ice for 30 min in 0.1 M Na cacodylate, pH 7.4, containing 2% glutaraldehyde and 1% PFA before centrifugation at 1200×g for 10 min at 4 °C. Samples were then submitted to the Electron Microscopy Core Facility (ZHBY Biotech Co. Ltd., Nanchang, China) for standard transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis.
