Cisplatin-mediated apoptosis assay.

Tumor cells were seeded at 2 × 105 cells/well in 6-well plates 1 day before the assay. Cells were treated with 10 μM cisplatin for 24 hours and then harvested by trypsinization. The frequency of apoptotic cells was determined by staining with anti–active caspase-3 antibody, followed by flow cytometric analysis.
