The Caspase-Glo 3/7 assay (Promega, USA) was used to evaluate the activity of caspase 3/7 according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Cells at a density of 1 × 104/well were plated in a 96-well plate and cultured for 48 h. Then, 100 μl of Caspase-Glo 3/7 reagent (Promega, USA) was added. After incubation in the dark at room temperature for 30 min, the luminescence of cells was measured by a microplate reader.
