Seeds of MM were subjected to 37 °C for 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 72, 96, 120 and 144 h. Subsequently, they were transferred to 25 °C for 14 days. Afterwards, the normal germinated seeds were counted manually for each time point. A segmented model was fitted to seed germination (percentage) versus time (hours) using the NLIN procedure of the SAS software [51]:
