Cells transfected with siRNA were cultured in 96-well plates, and the release of LDH was determined using the Pierce LDH cytotoxicity assay kit (cat. no. 88954; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.), in a time-dependent manner, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
