Multiple myeloma cells were transfected with siRNAs using Lipofectamine RNAiMAX Reagent (Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Briefly, MM.1 S cells were seeded at 1.0 × 105 cells/100 µL/well onto 96-well plates. The cells were then transfected with 2 pmol siRNA and 0.3 µL Lipofectamine RNAiMAX Reagent diluted with Opti‐MEM Medium (Invitrogen) and cultured for 72 hours. This gives a final siRNA concentration of 20 nM.
