The Rgs10-/- and WT mice were used for the tail bleeding assay. Hemostasis was examined using the tail transection technique [1316]. Briefly, mice were anesthetized with isoflurane and place on a 37 oC homeothermic blanket and their tails were transected 5 mm from the tip. The tail was placed in saline at 37 oC and the time to bleeding cessation was measured. Bleeding stoppage was not considered complete until bleeding had stopped for 1 min. When required, measurements were terminated at 15 min.
