N,N,N′,N′-Tetrakis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethylenediamine (TPEN) (Sigma, USA) was used to chelate zinc ions in T24 cells. TPEN was added to cell culture at a final concentration of 3μM before treatment with nZnO.
