Cell proliferation was measured by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) (Beyotime Biotechnology) as described previously 11. In brief, cells (2.0×103 per well) were seeded into 96-well plates in triplicate and the proliferation was monitored for up to 4 days. The absorbance at 570 nm was evaluated using a spectrophotometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
