The cells as well as the culture medium were collected. After sonication and centrifugation, the concentrations of cAMP in the supernatant were quantified by a cyclic AMP ELISA kit and a prostaglandin E2 ELISA kit, respectively, according to the manufacturer’s protocols (Cayman Chemical).
