All results are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation. All statistical analyses were performed with SPSS software, version 13.0 for Windows (SPSS, Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). Paired t-test was used to analyze comparisons between groups and analysis of paired data. Pearson correlation was used to analyze the association between miR-96 expression and plasma D-dimer levels for the prediction of DVT. P<0.05 was considered to indicate a statistically significant difference.
