All reagents were used as received without further experimental purification. Cadmium oxide (CdO, 99.998%), cadmium chloride (CdCl2, 99.99%), tellurium powder (Te, 99.8%), tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO, 90%), oleic acid (OA, 90%), 1-octadecene (ODE, 90%), tri-n-octylphosphine (TOP, 90%), selenium (Se, 99.99%, powder), zinc acetate (99.99%), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO, 99.7%), tetradecylphosphoric acid (TDPA, 97%), tributylphosphine (TBP, 90%), tetramethylammoniumhydroxide (TMAH, 97%), and chlorobenzene (99%) were purchased from Aldrich. n-Octane (>99%) and isopropanol (99.8%) were purchased from Acros Organics. Hexane (analytical grade), acetone (analytical grade), and methanol (analytical grade) were obtained from Beijing Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. China.
