Blood samples from 28 healthy Caucasian donors (Supplementary Table S1) were obtained from the local blood bank in accordance with institutional regulations from the Etablissement Français du Sang, Paris, France. Written informed consent was obtained from all donors. This work was carried out in accordance with the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity – revised edition (2017). The study was approved by the Cochin Hospital Ethics Committee (3 CCPPRB 2061) as part of an analysis of blood monocyte populations in septic patients (F. M-M, V. Faivre, A.C. Lukaszewicz, D.
