Tissues were harvested and fixed in neutral buffered formalin for 20 h at 4°C. They were then embedded in paraffin, sectioned, and hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)-stained. Quantification of nuclear size in tissues was performed blinded to the genotype of the sample. Images were taken on a Zeiss Axiovert 40 microscope and analyzed in ImageJ. At least 150 cells from each tissue were included in the analysis.
