MDCK cells infected with influenza virus at 100TCID50 for 2 h, following the unbound viruses were removed and treated with or without the tested compounds for 48 h [19]. Then, the 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) was calculated based on Reed and Muench method and the selectivity index (SI) of compounds was calculated as the ratio of TC50/IC50 [21].
