ALDH3A1 enzymatic activity assay

Determinations of ALDH activity were carried out using a spectrophotometer (Beckman Instruments, Fullerton, CA) by monitoring NADPH production at 340 nm as previously described [12]. Enzyme activities are presented as nmoles of NADPH produced/min/mg of total protein. Results are reported as mean ± S.E of three biological replicates.
